Joanne McFadden grew up in Morris, MB, within a Métis household, before leaving to pursue a career with a creative edge in Winnipeg. She enrolled at the University of Manitoba, where she discovered her calling in the Faculty of Architecture’s Interior Design program.

Inspired by her Métis culture and the philosophies of Frank Lloyd Wright, Joanne focuses on evoking the reason, rhyme, and meaning of life through colour, texture, and scale. The anticipation of delivering innovative design solutions and producing exciting and well-planned environments invigorates her across each phase of the project. She has built a compelling portfolio of functional, human, and creative environments that align with her passion for mental health awareness.

As a principal, she oversees the firm’s interior design department and Corporate Office area of expertise. She’s invested and committed to each project’s evolution, earning the appreciation of her colleagues while cultivating a dynamic team of design professionals under her leadership. Additionally, Joanne has served as the past president of the Professional Interior Designer Institute of Manitoba
